Abigail setting her foot prints on the corner of the front porch
Meetings, meetings, and more meetings......
This week we met with Becky at Morrison's Supply for over 5 hours and picked out our fixtures for the kitchen and bathrooms. A few of the highlights are my soaking tub
which is made from volcanic limestone.
And my kitchen sink. It's a large cast iron farm sink, ice gray, with an old fashioned looking faucet. Of course my setting will be much more rustic than the ones in these pictures :)
Next we met with the electrician for a couple of hours, which led us to the lighting store, another couple of hours. Once we had picked out most of our light fixtures we were able to head back to the cabin and mark exactly where we wanted the wiring to go.  Which is when we discovered that something was amiss with the AC. Apparently there is not enough room to run all the duct work from one unit so we had to split it and put in two smaller units.

It was a very busy week. At one point we had the framers, plumbers, sprinkler guys, phone guy (due to the fact the sprinkler crew cut the phone line) ac crew, along with us and the electrician all scurying around the place.

However, the cabin is coming along and the painters should start Monday!
